Bamboo Pad would appear in the Wacom Tablet dialog in System Settings, but touching it or clicking the buttons did nothing. I'm just glad that now I have a couple of back up pens. I don't know if my pen would have worked if I'd just found that link I posted, or if I had to update the drivers and other stuff. Press and hold both side buttons at the same time for two seconds to switch between protocols (one blink means the pen is. Switch between Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP) and Wacom Active Electrostatic (AES) devices as you please. Bamboo Ink is preset for the Wacom AES protocol. I also had gotten refurbished pens and was wondering if because they were refurbished that was the issue but nope. Your Bamboo Ink needs to be set to the right protocol for your device. I"d been trouble shooting this for more than 4 days. I followed the directions located at Getting started with Bamboo Ink: smart stylus optimized for Windows Ink | Wacom and pushed the "toggle" switch, both ends at the same time for 2 seconds and then my two pens started working. I could get it to pair after all of that, but it still wouldn't write. ![]() ![]() However, I downloaded new driver, new tablet update, and Windows 10 update. I'm not very computer savy, so I'm not sure if I switched the pen from AES to MMP or what happened. The tablet itself works, including pressure sensitivity, but trying to open any tablet preference. Paired but pens would not write or draw in my photo and drawing programs. I uninstalled everything, wiped my whole computer clean of any tablet products or drivers, but once I tried re-installing the Bamboo Fun drivers from Wacom's site they are no longer working. ![]()
